The Boscombe Overstrand

Boscombe Overstrand

The design brief from Hemingway Design and the Bournemouth council was for the web site to capture the 1950's postcard style and to draw on ideas for images of the Overstrand in its heyday.
The main part of the site is a Flash parallax scrolling image of the full overstrand building, where you can then view rendered images of the Beach hut interiors and equipment details.
The site has been setup to enable the council to manage the for sale huts using a CMS system that updates the flash images to show when huts have been sold, also the basic pages of the site can be updated using the same system.

David Parker Consulting

David Parker Consulting

I was contacted by david as he needed his current web site updating and also wanted some contact forms added to the site so his customers had an easy way of contacting him or requesting copies of the articles he had written.
The site was given a new look and feel, the forms were added and also all of david's previous articles were added to the site.
I now host the site for David and the next step is to look at some email newsletters to keep his clients fully up to date when his articles are released and for any news.

Coastal Construction

Coastal Construction

This client was looking to start a web site to showcase their work and as they had a very disjointed image they wanted to re-brand the company at the same time, giving them a new start.

I have designed the logo, web site, business stationary and also created the artwork for the vinyl signage on their vans and provide the hosting for their web site.
Therefore providing them with a complete and consistent image that will be instantly recognizable.

Boscombe Reef Hotel

The owner of the hotel contacted me after seeing the Urban Beach Hotel web site, and was looking to promote the hotel with a clean and simple web site that had a surfing feel that would compliment the name.
The logo was designed from the clients brief, then the web site was created to fit with the logo.
The web site was launched and exceeded the clients expectations, then i managed the integration of a custom online room booking system and provide their web hosting.

Modern Energy Systems

Conscious that their web site need a complete overhaul to bring it up to date, and to help them stay at the forefront in a market place that was now becoming more competitive.

Urban Beach Hotel

Urban Beach Hotel

I took on the Urban Beach Hotel web site after a chance meeting with the owner and a chat about web sites, initially i started doing a few changes and updates.

Then after about a year i worked with a graphic designer to do a total re-design for the look of the site and at the same time managed the integration of a bespoke online booking system.
And as the business grows so the web site continues to grow as well.

Freefall Collective

Freefall Collective

A Mambo web site might be easy to update text and images, but there is only so much you can do with styling it.
So a bit of a chat over a beer after a gig and plan was hatched to replace their current site with something a little more Freefall!
Flash based for the music and video players, with the site loading html pages into flash that are styled with CSS. XML for the gigs list with an admin page so the guys can do updates.

Pier Point Restaurant

Pier Point Restaurant

From a basic holding page to a full XML driven Flash web site, the Pier Point web site has grown over the last couple of years. A monthly newsletter option was added to provide full HTML formatted e-mails, so Pier Point could keep their customers up to date with offers and events going on in the restaurant.
Then it was on to their print media, initially working with a Graph designer but recently designing it all myself, helping to keep a consistent brand image across all media.

Pier Point Outside

Pier Point Outside

When Pier Point restaurant expanded into outside catering for special occasions and events, i was asked to design the web site for them.
They wanted to keep the design of the new web site in a similar vein to the original Pier Point web site, to keep it recognizable to its customers.
More emphasis was put on the imagery for the site to give off a strong sense of what types of service could be expected form the outside catering section.
